Money lender's licence

Anyone operating a money lender business in Hong Kong must obtain a money lender license. The licensing matters of money lenders and money lending transactions are subject to Chapter 163 of the Laws of Hong Kong《Money Lenders Ordinance》Regulation.

• Responsible for handling applications for money lender licenses, license renewals, and endorsements on licenses; And keep a register of creditors for public inspection.

• Responsible for implementing the Regulations on Money Lenders, including reviewing applications for money lender licenses, license renewals, and endorsements, as well as investigating complaints related to money lenders.
